UNIABUJA Closed Indefinitely Over Students’ Protest

Report Emanating from the University of Abuja has it that the school have been temporary short down due to the protest.

Below is the memo sent to schoolwatch.com.ng by the registrar of the institution, M.B. Modibbo.

I am directed to inform you that, given the prevailing situation in the University, the Vice-Chancellor has, on behalf of the senate, approved that the University be closed down until further notice.

You are therefore to vacate the hostels and university premises immediately.

Further developments on this matter will be communicated to you in due course.

schoolwatch.com.ng grapevine learnt that the DPO of Gwagwalada Division fired tear gas canisters to peaceful protesters of Unibuja at the Staff Quarters Giri.
