Abia state university would conduct a supplementary screening test for admission of candidates into selected regular academic programmes of the university for the 2013/2014 academic session.
Candidates qualified to participate in the screening exercise are:
1.Candidates who selected Abia state university as their first and / or second choice university in the 2013 JAMB examination and scored 180 and above.
2.Candidates who participated in the 2013 ABSU screening test but scored less than 180.
Direct entry candidates should also present themselves for the screening exercise on the same date.
The available academic programmes are housed in the following faculties:
*.Biological and physical sciences;
*.Humanities and social sciences.
DATE: The screening exercise has been scheduled to hold on Friday 20th September, 2013.
Venue: Abia state university, uturu
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Eligible candidates should proceed to any of the following banks:
OKIGWE: First bank Plc, Keystone bank Plc, Ecobank Plc, Zenith bank Plc, Fidelity bank Plc, and Union bank Plc.
UTURU: ABSU micro-finance bank Ltd, and Mainstreet bank Plc.
UMUAHIA: Mainstreet bank Plc, Zenith bank Plc, Skye bank Plc.
ABA: UBA Plc Aba – Owerri road branch and Union bank Plc Aba – Owerri road branch
to obtain a scratch card for registration. The value is two thousand seven hundred and fifty naira (2,750.00) only, services charges inclusive.
(a) Proceed to any internet centre for registration.
(b) Log on to ABSU Portal www.absu.edu.ng and complete the application form.
(c) Finally, confirm your entry and print a copy of the form as evidence of your registration.
The deadline for the on-line registration is Wednesday 18th September, 2013.
Candidates should come to the University on the scheduled days with the following items.
1. 2013 JAMB Slip
2.Post – UTME Acknowledge slip
3. One recent passport – size photograph with fill names, courses of study and JAMB registration number written at the back.
4. Writing materials (pen, HB pencil, etc).
