Photo News: KSU Students Protest 1 Month Strike

Students of the Kogi State University yesterday went on a peaceful demonstration, blocking the entrance through the University main gate. Motorist on Anyigba-Ankpa road where held up for about 3 – 4 hours. The purpose, according to some of the students, was to express their disappointment over the inability to suspend the ongoing strike action by ASUU.


However, according to a member of the Union, after the meeting held by ASUU yesterday, it was resolved in principle to suspend the strike action, subject to release of fund by the State Government. That they are ready to resume work immediately the fund is release to them.

Students are however requested to be calm and patient as the strike is at its end point.
