Legal luminary and former Pro- chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN will deliver the 7th Annual Lecture of the Registry of the Federal University of Technology Akure.
The lecture with the title, ‘Higher Educational Institutions in Nigeria: Law, Morality and Relevance as Pedestal for National Development’ will take place on Thursday July 16, 2015 at the University Auditorium by 10 AM.
The Chairman of the Event is the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Adebiyi Daramola while the Chief Host is the Registrar Dr Mrs Modupe Ajayi. Key stakeholders in the education sector and friends of the University from across the country are expected to grace the occasion while Oba Adedokun Abolarin , Orangun of Oke Ila, Dr Kola Ademujimi chief of Staff, Ondo State Government and Mr. Babatunde Adebayo , a former Registrar of the Institution are the special Guests of Honour.
The chairman of the Local organizing Committee, Mr. Ife Oluwole, in a statement said the lecture which is the seventh in the series is designed to contribute to the development of education in Nigeria through the generation of ideas that are relevant to the growth of higher institutions in the country and also serve as a forum for town and gown engagements.
