Odeyemi Appointed As Vice-Chancellor, CHRISLAND UNIVERSITY

Professor (Mrs.) Olusola Olasumbo Odeyemi has been appointed the Pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Chrisland University, Owode-Egba, Ogun State. Until this appointment, Professor (Mrs.) Odeyemi was the Head of Department of Biology.

Prof. (Mrs.) Odeyemi, a professor of Entomology, had her Ph.D. in Zoology with specialization in Entomology from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State.


She was at different times Head of Department, Biology, pioneer Associate Director, Pre-Degree Science (PDS) programme, pioneer Associate Director, University Diploma in Science (UDS) programme all in the Centre for Continuing Education and pioneer Director, Center for Gender Issues in Science and Technology (CEGIST), chairman and member of several committees of the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

Professor Odeyemi, a widely travelled academic is happily married with children.
