NANS Condemns Kano State Polytechnic Bomb Attack

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone A has condemned the recent suicide bomb attack on the Kano State Polytechnic and others on schools and public infrastructure.

The condemnation was contained in a statement issued in Kano and signed by Coordinator, NANS Zone A, Abdurrahman Bala. The group described the attack as a plot to destroy the prospects of the region and its teeming youths.

The group condoled with families of victims and the institution’s management.

NANS also urged the newly appointed Inspector General of Police to use all the resources available to tackle the insecurity situation.

It would be recalled that on Wednesday, 30th July a young female dress in dark hijab rammed into kano State Polytechnic killing scored of graduating students who were checking their NYSC posting list detonated herself, killing two and injured 10 others.
