The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday advised all prospective candidates intending to register for the 2016 Computer Based Test (CBT) to do so on or before Friday, 15th, January, 2016.
Speaking exclusively to schoolwatch.com.ng grapevine, the board’s Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin said that the sale of forms for the examination commenced since Monday, 31st August, 2015 and would end on Friday, 15th, January, 2016, adding that the website would close on January 19, 2016.
This was made know by the Public Relations Officer of JAMB, Mr Fabian Benjamin, in Lagos.
Fabian stated that the 2016 UTME application closes on Friday, 15th January, 2016 and all candidates desirous of sitting for the examination are advised to immediately obtain the application documents at the designated banks.
“This is to ensure that they get registered and avoid being left out.
“In view of the above, the board has completed all processes and preparations and has put in place all logistics needed to conduct a hitch-free examination,” the statement said.
According to him, the examination will be computer-based.
When ask if there is going to be an extension, Mr. Fabian asserted that there is no official statement to that effect yet.
To this end, schoolwatch.com.ng team wish to implore all intending candidates who are yet to purchase their 2016 UTME forms to do so on or before January 15th, 2016.
