The Senate of Rivers State University of Science and Technology has made it compulsory for students to undergo the ICT Competence and Digital Lifestyle training course.

The decision was based on the need for students to be able to appreciate the use of computers since the university runs a full online system.

The course is now compulsory for students in their first and second year.

Already, the RSUST IT Academy has put modalities in place to commence the training classes for the students as online registration begins.
