The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre is carrying out a revalidation exercise of students’ course registration. This is in pursuance of the Vice Chancellor’s directive that FUTO students should have their Class List and semester academic transcripts as at when due.
Students’ academic transcripts cannot be prepared if there are no accurate records of registered courses in a semester and students’ results on such courses. The records from the Edu-Portal reveal that many students have been inconsistent in their semester course registration, hence the need for the present revalidation exercise, which is COMPULSORY for all current undergraduate students of FUTO.
Students are hereby reminded that the university regulations require that students must first register for courses in order to attend lectures and write examinations on such courses. This implies that any student, who fails to complete the ongoing course registration revalidation exercise, within the stipulated period, would not be allowed to attend lectures or write examinations on any courses he or she didn’t register for.
Students should recall that during the recently concluded 2013/2014 Rain semester examinations, students who did not pay their school fees were not allowed to write the semester examinations. The University Management is poised to implement the same rule in terms of “no course registration, no examinations.” It is therefore in the best interest of every student to ensure his or her participation and successful completion of the course registration revalidation exercise within the stipulated period.
The schedule for collection of Revalidation templates is as follows:
|SCHOOLS||VENUE FOR COLLECTION|
|SEET, SOSC, SOET||ICT CENTRE|
|SAAT, SMAT, SOHT||UNIVERSITY COMPUTER CENTRE (UCC)|
