FUOYE Appoints New Registrar

The Governing Council of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State has appointed Mr. Abiodun Adeyemo as its Pioneer substantive Registrar.
Adeyemo who holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geography of the University of Ibadan (1990) and Master in Public Administration (MPA) of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (2008) started his working career with the Ondo State Post Primary Management Board and Ministry of Education, Ondo State in 1992 before joining the services of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) in July, 1996 as an Administrative Officer II.



He rose through the ranks and became a Principal Assistant Registrar (PAR) in October 2009 before his transfer of service to the Federal University, Oye Ekiti in 2011 upon the establishment of the institution as the Acting Registrar, a position he held until his recent appointment.

While at FUTA, he was at different times School Officer, Secretary, and School of Postgraduate Studies and served in different committees of the University. He also attended various seminars, conferences and workshops. It is believed that he will bring his vast administrative skills to enhance the Registry of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti and higher education in Nigeria.
His appointment further justifies FUTA’s rising profile in the provision of critical manpower for the development of higher education in the country.
