Finally, COEASU Suspend Strike For Three Months

The Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, COEASU on Thursday, officially suspended its seven-months old strike for three months to allow the Federal Government look at their grievances.

COEASU President, Dr. Emmanuel Sage told reporters in Abuja at the end of a meeting with the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau that the union decided to suspend the strike in other to give the new minister a chance to work on their demands.

Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union COEAS grapevine scooped that Students, lecturers have been directed to resume class on 21st July.

The Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, COEASU embarked on an indefinite strike to press home the implementations of their demands from the federal government.
