FG Name Aluko As The New Rector Of Ilaro Polytechnic

Mr Olanrewaju Olusegun Aluko has been appointed as the fifth Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro for a four-year term with effect from Friday, September 26, 2014.

schoolwatch.com.ng gathered that, President Goodluck Jonathan endorsed the appointment of Mr Olanrewaju Olusegun Aluko as the new Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro for a four-year term.

The new Rector has been mandated by President Goodluck Jonathan to transformed the institution. To bring the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro to Greater Heights

In a statement, the Deputy Registrar, Public Relations of the Polytechnic, Reverend Lasunkanmi Bolaji, disclosed that the president, in the letter signed by the Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, urged the new Rector to use the appointment to translate into greater height the development of the institution apart from bringing glory to the Polytechnic in particular and Nigeria in general.

Aluko, who hails from Mopa in the Mopa Amuro Local Government Area of Kogi State was born on May 13, 1960.

He holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Architecture (1982) and M.Sc degree (1985) in the same discipline from Ahmadu Bello University, Zari, while he is awaiting his Ph.D in Environmental Management from the Lead City University, Ibadan, Oyo State.Aluko holds several professional qualifications, as well as international and national awards.

He employed all staff of the institution to work collectively to accomplished most, if not all, of what we had set out to do.
