The Enugu State University of Science and Technology, has herald the eviction of 107 students who are at various stages of their study in the University for alleged certificate forgery.
The 107 students who gained Direct Entry admission were found to have forged the OND certificates they presented to the University during their admission.
The Vice Chancellor of ESUT, Prof. Cyprian Onyeji, who disclosed this during the 32nd Matriculation Ceremony of the University held at Agbani, stated that the Senate of the University approved the expulsion of the affected students at its 238th Regular meeting held recently.
Warning the fresh students to steer clear of any form of examination malpractice, Professor Onyeji also recalled that in the last one year, the University Senate had applied varied degrees of sanctions to up to 150 students for their involvements in examination malpractice.
