EKSU VC Urges Students to shun Cultism

The Vice-Chancellor of the Ekiti State University, Prof. Oladipo Aina has congratulated the newly admitted students into the institution for their success adding that they have chosen rightly to seek University education in the Ekiti State University.

Professor Aina said this while declaring open the orientation programme organized for Batch B fresh students for the 2013/2014 academic session.

The EKSU Vice-Chancellor presented the vision of the leadership of the University to make EKSU a world class University recognized for its academic excellence and quality of scientific and cutting edge research.

The EKSU Vice-Chancellor counseled the newly admitted students to obey the University laws and statutes.

He urged them to stay clear of unregistered associations, internet fraud, examination malpractice, drugs, arms, and violence.

Prof. Aina said plans are underway to construct Students Hostels on the campus as well establish work-study and scholarship schemes for students. They were also opportuned to receive several orientation
lectures on Bursary and Financial matter, Drugs Abuse, Counselling and Discipline.
