EKSU Student Critically Wounded During Clash Between APC And PDP Members

A student was badly beaten in Ekiti State on saturday, 24th January, 2015. The victim was identified as a student of Ekiti State University.

The Student was attack during a clashed between the APC and the PDP in the state on Saturday January 24th. The student suffered severe cut on his head during the clash.

The APC in defence allege that the clash broke out after the National Vice-President, External, National Association of Nigerian Students, Tosin Ogunkuade was arrested by the state police for speaking during its presidential campaign, the state Governor in his defence said the people arrested were thugs of the APC who wanted to cause trouble in the state.


The student said that some men assaulted him with machete and other sharp objects.

Following the attack, the student was rushed to a nearby Hospital in the state, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
