This is to inform the entire staff of the Ekiti State University that the Vice chancellor is making concerted effort to get April 2015 subvention to be able to pay March Salary.
This was made know to schoolwatch.com.ng by the Registrar of the institution, B.A Adeoya.
The Vice chancellor has therefore appealed to all members of staff to please bear with the University.
It would be recalled that the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, , yesterday, 27th May, 2015 shut down when lecturers and other workers in the institution embark indefinite strike over non payment of three months salaries by the state government.
The workers vowed not to return to work until their March-May salaries were paid.
Liveschoolnews.com.ng grapevine gathered that, both academic and non-academic activities were paralysed as students were turned back by the aggrieved staff, who shut the two entrances to the institution.
