Report reaching news desk has it that the students of the University of Abuja, (UNIABUJA), on Sunday, expressed readiness to stage a mass protest tomorrow being the 16th of June to the Ministry of Education.

This is in line to press home their demands and air their grievances.

As we all know, UNIABUJA is a school where all sort of injustice happen. A school where there is strike every session if not every semester, a school where almost 2yrs is spent in a level.

A Student, who did not want his name in print, told grapevin that, Giving all these pity conditions, there will be an indefinite protest from Monday, which will be strategically tagged ‘UNIABUJA MAT REVOLUTION’ ,’we are going on this protest to demand Federal Government Sincere Intervention in our school by going to the ministry of education, House of Assembly to say No TO THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT INSENCITIVITY TO OUR PLIGHT, we are going there to pass nights until the school management is ready to ‘BRING BACK OUR EXAMS’, we are going there to ask for the release of the ‘WHITE PAPER’ which is the only solution to the many years decadence of the system. We are going on this unprecedented peaceful protest with sufficient provisions for food, shelter etc
But most importantly, we need every body’s hands on desk if at all we are going to succeed in this struggle. You can contribute by coming to SUG on Monday by 6am ,but while coming, come with a MAT, as we are probably going to pass nights.
