ASUU strike—FUTO sacks lecturers who fail to comply with the FG ultimatum.

The government had, through the acting minister of education, Nyesom Wike, ordered universities to reopen and threatened to sack any lecturer that failed to report to work.

To this directive, can authoritatively inform the public that the striking lecturers of the Federal University of Technology Owerri have been sacked with immediate effect by the management of the institution.

The affected lecturers fail to comply with the federal government ultimatum to go back to class.

The public relations officer of the institution, Mr.Chike Ezenwa, disclosed the managment decision to newsmen in Owerri yesterday.

He disclosed that already their positions have been advertised for interesting persons.
