Armed Robbers Killed Nigerian Student In Ghana

Pandemonium struck over the weekend at the Sikkim Manipal University Accra, Nazifi Osman Muhammed, following a Nigerian Student who was stabbed to death by suspected armed robbers at his home. grapevine gathered that two other victims and brothers to the deceased, Jamiru Osman and Mustapha Musa are receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital as a result of the injuries they sustained during the robbery incident.

The victims are all students of Information Communication Technology (ICT) at the Sikkim Manipal University at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra.

According to reports the students were attacked in their room at the New Town, an Accra suburb at about 3.30a.m on Saturday by three masked men, who were armed with kitchen knives and inflicted serious injures on them.

The three students were rushed to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital by neighbours but Nazifi was pronounced dead arrival by doctors on. He was said to have sustained deep cuts on his chest.

The Kotobabi District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Elizabeth Tiekuwa Dankwa, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that one person has been arrested in connection with the robbery attack.
